A couple weeks ago Mike, Zach, and Josh P went over to the original SJC Drums shop where Scott started refurbishing drums. For those of you who don't know, SJC Drums was started out of Mike & Scott Ciprari's Grandmother's basement in Dudley, MA. We headed over there to take some photos of the Tour Series in the basement and to do a quick video update showing where SJC started. It was nostalgic, to say the least, and Mike had a great time showing where everything was done and what it was like in the early days of SJC. This is pre-Facebook, iPhones, social media, etc. and the company ran everything off pen and paper out of their bedrooms and their Grandma's basement. Super cool, and we are so proud and humbled to be where we are today thanks to your support! It was quite rough down there for the first 6 years of the companies' existence. No heat, no cell phone reception.. Mike did a lot of sales and deals outside in the snow since that was where his flip phone worked. It was awesome looking back at it, and we wouldn't trade it for the world!!
